Ant man is going to start his OWN team. They will be called the Antvengers. All of the other members will be ants that he dresses up like the Avengers. Captain Antmerica, Iron Ant, Hawkant, Thor-ax, Black Ant, the Antcredible Ant.
Okay gang if ya’ll are curious as to why Ant Man is being refereed to by all these comics folks let me explain a little Marvel to you.
Hank Pym aka “Ant Man” is not important for his kinda lackluster super hero ANTics (hahahahah!) but because he is a brilliant inventor on par with Tony motherfucking Stark.
He invented Ultron folks.
Which is why ultimately he is important to Avengers canon and probably movie-verse canon. Because Ultron is one of the biggest villains to ever face the Avengers.
Also Ultron created The Vision, another important character, to defeat the Avengers but instead The Vision helped the Avengers destroy Ultron.
Also on a side note Ultron also created one Victor Mancha of the teenage super hero team “The Runaways.” So if Marvel was going to finally make their damn Runaways movie then they would have to at least mention Ultron and by proxy Hank Pym. That’s why Ant Man is important to Avengers canon.
